# Requesting Data Deletion

We respect your right to request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with GDPR and other data protection laws. To initiate a data deletion request:

* **Contact Us:** Email our support team at [support@amniscient.com](mailto:support@amniscient.com) or use our online contact form.

* **Verification:** For security purposes, we will verify your
  identity before processing your request to ensure that only
  authorized individuals can delete personal data.

* **Processing:** Upon verification, we will begin the data deletion
  process, which includes removing your data from our active systems and, where applicable, anonymizing it in our backup systems.

* **Confirmation:** We will notify you once the data deletion process
  is complete. Please note that certain data may be retained if required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
